Caption	From identification sheet: "Pictured is Helen Glover Perry at the Club Matinee registering voters, which she did from 1947 onward. The registration process was organized by the 5th Ward Civic Club, then headed by Mrs. Mamie Lou Porter. The poll tax was $1.50 and registers like Mrs. Perry received as pay $0.05 for every person who they registered."
