Caption	John Markou and children Mark, Anastasia (Later Caridas) and Paul in 1928. John Markou was the husband of Irene Coronis, who died before this photo was taken. The children were sent to Greece to visit the family in Patmos, and the two boys "who were unaccustomed to the hard life there" died. The daughter was also taken very ill, but recovered and eventually returned to Houston. John Markou & family 1928
