Seated around the table are Chris Petheriotes, brother of George, George Petheriotes, Sophia P., George's wife, Catherine P., George's daughter (later Matandos), Constantina, sister of George, possibly George's father Demetrios, and Paul P., George's brother.
Caption	George Petheriotes's family on a trip to Greece, 1929, to their hometown of Tripoli. The two boys in sailor suits are Angelo P. and James P., George's sons. Seated around the table are Chris Petheriotes, brother of George, George Petheriotes, Sophia P., George's wife, Catherine P., George's daughter (later Matandos), Constantina, sister of George, possibly George's father Demetrios, and Paul P., George's brother. Paul and Chris lived in Houston a few years and eventually returned to live in Greece. At the time this photo was taken, they were back in Greece, and George brought his family to visit his brothers and sister there. He is the only member of his family who came to the US and remained here.
