Caption	"Houston, Texas.... The Emerald Room, one of the fabulous public rooms at The Shamrock Hotel, to open in March, is shown above. In 'International Modern' design created for the hotel by R.D. Harrell, designer of interiors and furnishings. Three walls are in grey blue with appliqued shamrocks in bottle green and chartreuse. The fourth wall is covered with red and chartreuse striped fabric. Upholstery is in chartreuse. Colors in the carpet, designed by Mr. Harrell and especially woven by Bigelow, are special green, chartreuse and light blue in Shamrock design. Remainder of the floor in green Vinyl plastic rubber flooring."
