Description	View looking North from top of Gantry Crane on Craneway number 6 between shipways number 5 and number 6. Hulls 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 shown from left to right, on ways 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, respectively. The equipment in left foreground are Constant Potential Welding sets. New Welding Slabs along right-hand edge of picture. Storage of fabricated parts in center on both sides of road. Two small dark buildings at right background have been painted with camouflage paints. The one closest to the observer has been painted with a deep olive drab, whereas the far one has been painted with a low visibility gray. Houston Ship Channel in the background. Plant of the Brown Shipbuilding Company under construction on opposite bank of Ship Channel. Outside Office Building, Group Shops and Receiving Building at right background.
