Abstract	Born in Corpus Christie, Texas, she was raised in Houston, Texas. In 1964, seeing the need for galleries to display the work of good artists, she started to open galleries, raising funds for them. As an Art Director of galleries, her vision was to see the galleries as a vibrant place, where people can be free, relaxed and be able to study and appreciate art. Later, in her visit to Vietnam, seeing the horrible conditons of the war victims, she tried to move some of them to the United States to give them a better life.
