Deed transferring lots in Houston from William A. Van Alstyne to Thomas M Bagby, March 29, 1838

              The State of Texas, Harris County. }  Know all men by this public instrument made and entered into by and between Wm. A Van Alstyne of the county of Harris in the state of Texas of the first part, and Thomas M. Bagby of the county of Harris in the state of Texas of the second part, Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred Dollars in hand paid by the party of the second part to the party of the first part, the receipt of which is hereby fully acknowledged and confessed, the said party of the first part, by this act has granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and released, and doth hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and release unto the said party of the second part,       heirs, assigns and legal representatives, the following described land and premises, lying and being situated in the county of Harris in the state of Texas. To wit: Blocks of Lots numbered Three hundred and seventy-four (374) Three hundred & seventy Eight (378) and Four Hundred and Ten (410) in that part of the City of Houston known as the Holman[?] Street[?] right track, being so marked numbered and designated in a plan of said City Recorded in Harris County Record of Deeds Book at page 389. Together with all and singular the rights, members, improvements, hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof.
