My Dear Colonel
I had hoped to have met you in this, were if [?] at my house, but as I have not, I will in part recall old times.
If you will have to good-ness to call on Mr. Torreys agent or representative, and see what has become of those Portraits of mine? One is at Maj [Major] Kellums let it stay there. One was in military (green dress) and one in a citizen dress. Green also.
Will you please to tell me what has become of them?
