It is with great pride and pleasure that I inform you that Mr. Clifton F.
Richardson has been accepted for enshrinement into the distinguished gallery of
Black newspaper publishers. The ceremony will be held at Howard University in
March,1991.
Please submit two (2) front pages of the paper you would like to use for the
plaque with Mr. Richardson's picture overlaid as part of the ceremony. We will
also need a black and white shot, shoulder to head cropped, for part of the plaque
to be used. Please submit this material on or before Friday, February 8, 1991, to
Mr. Steve Davis, Executive Director, National Newspaper Publishers Association,
948 National Press Building, Washington, D. C. 20045.
The precise time of the enshrinement ceremony will follow within a few
days. Again, my congratulations, and I look forward to seeing you at the induction
ceremonies in Washington.
