Description	Notes by Ed Kilman as he reviewed the diary of Constance Evershade. Constance was the daughter of Charles Evershade, Superintendent of the Texas Transportation Company in the 1880s. Constance kept her diary for 15 years, from 1885 to 1900. The diary was unknown until 1962 when a family member let Ed Kilman publicized it in 2 articles that appeared on October 21 and October 28 1962 in the Houston Post.
